James M Crow was born in 1818, and it is unknown when he originally came to Texas. He was born in Tennessee and was married to Susan Ella Brown on 10-21-1845 in San Augustine, Texas. His daughter Mary Adelia "Mollie" Crow married Andrew Jackson Wade on 9-28-1860. Andrew's father was Thomas Sebastian Cabot Wade. He was the 1/2 brother of E.O Legrand, signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence.  And came to Texas with his brother E.O. but because he did not own land, we were unable to prove him as a resident of Texas. E.O's father was John Brown Legrand and his mother Margaret Peggy Chambers later remarried Andrew Wade. Thomas Sebastian Cabot Wade was their son.
